Happy Thanksgiving! What Are You Thankful For?

’)Happy Thanksgiving to ya!
Just thought I would get up this morning and write a little Thanksgiving post 
I haven’t thought about what I am thankful for in a long time so I felt I should express some thoughts about what I should be thankful for. I am a pretty practical guy so I won’t sit here and list a specific list of every little thing because I usually look at the big picture and not waste too much time on the little things in life because I know they will only cause stress.
My thanks can be summed up as follows. I am thankful that I have no major issues in my life at this time. I am pretty healthy, I have a decent job which at least pays enough so my family can have a fairly decent standard of living. My kids are doing well so far, with no major issues. Although I am not happy we are at war, I got to be thankful that the war is not happening on our soil, yet.
For some reason when I think about what I am thankful for I get a guilty feeling because I know there are so many people in this world that don’t have the same standard of living that I have and I feel trapped because there is not much I can do about it. Sure I could donate money to charity or sponsor a child, etc., but I know it will only make me feel good for a moment and does not solve the problem. The truth is that doing those things are like trying to snow board up a landslide. The problem still remains and will not get any better until we attack the core of the problem. Enough of that.
Anyway, I will just close with, Happy Thanksgiving to all and I hope that things go your way at least for this day.
