How I Got Farcry 2 PC For Free By Doing A LinkedIn Survey

Life can be very tough, often.  But occasionally it can be real nice to you.

Tonight I got lucky because I got Farcry 2 for free.  Well technically not free and I will explain in a minute.  One day I was checking my email when suddenly I noticed an email from Linkedin.  In it they explained that they wanted to get my feedback via a survey regarding certain industry questions.  They said they came across my linked profile and wanted my expert opinion regarding the Information Technology industry.

They offered 3 different surveys and each had a reward.  The first was for a $5 Amazon gift card.  The second was for like $30.  The last one which is a 30 minute online seminar was for like $90!  Of course I went after the first one right away to get the $5 Amazon gift card.  I finished it in about 10 minutes.  There were a lot of questions about technologies used in the work place.  Which ones I have used and which ones I would like to use, etc.

They sent me an email a day later with the gift card code.  Pretty sweet!  I immediately went on Amazon and started searching around for something to buy.  If you haven’t figured out by now I am a huge fan of video games.  Been into them heavily since the original Nintendo came out.  So I went on Amazon hoping to find some video game that was under 5$.  Low and behold, I did.

They were having this special 5$ video promotion and there were 5 games to choose from.  Wouldn’t you know it, Farcry 2 was one of the games.  If you don’t know what Far Cry 2 is, it is one of those first person shooter games with incredible graphics.  It has very advanced physics in the game which is what I really like about it.  Yeah it is cool to go around blowing people away but I have more fun messing around with the physics, like throwing containers into buildings and crashing cars into things, etc.

So just like that, Farcry 2 for almost free.  Yeah it took 10 minutes of work, but hey, it was well worth it   Can’t wait to do the other surveys and get some real cash.
