I find it very frustrating when I present the ideas of the Zeitgeist movement to people and they immediately reject it because they find just one problem it can’t solve.

People,

there is no system in this world that can solve all of the world’s problems.  You need to understand that the Zeitgeist movement is only trying to make a much better world than we currently have now.  You got to see the big picture.   First off the Zeitgeist movement does not claim to have the answer for all the Earth’s problems.  We know of some very big problems and have found solutions that are guaranteed to minimize or eliminate them.

Of course we don’t know why people

The problem is that people don’t think objectively.  We are trained to think subjectively.  That is why voting is the way is because most people vote for what they want and not what is best for all people.

Try to realize the truth, which is that we are all symbiotically connected to this planet and every single one of our actions, has a real impact on the world as a whole.  Don’t think for a moment that you don’t make a difference because you do whether you like it or not.  You would be surprised the ripple effect actions you can take could have on the world and all creatures in it.

If you know me then you know I am fairly intelligent and am not the type of person who easily believes in things or is swayed by things that don’t make sense.  The ideas of the Zeitgeist movement make perfect sense to me and I have yet to see a downside.  Most people don’t really read all of the information.  They often go by what others say or what they see from a trusted media source of some kind.  The movement deals in all most all facts so it is really hard to argue against it.

Anyway, I just want to say that if you are ever approached by someone that has what seems to be a good idea, read all about it yourself from the source and not what you hear from others.  Sure you will find out that you may not agreee with it or it is flat out BS but at least you will know for sure and honestly.

I have yet to see strong enough evidence that shows that the ideas of The Zeitgeist Movement and The Venus Project are not worth it, or will not work.

I have been spending some time in the last few days talking to various people regarding these ideas.  I have watched all 3 movies and have read everything on both websites.  I have also watched various interviews with Peter Joseph and Jacque Fresco.  So the concept of this movement is very clear to me.

When I explain it to people I get the same reactions every time.  They usually think that it is either a cult or it is communism.  This is of course not true, there are big differences.  Then people usually resort to the human instinct and natural greed idea, which is also not true.

I would like to hear what intelligent arguments people have against the movement.  So far I have yet to see one.  I look forward to your comments.
